Planned Giving

Planned Giving

The ADA Foundation’s Legacy Program offers the opportunity for members to support the Foundation and continue to impact the profession by leaving a legacy that will live well into the future. Members are encouraged to join this program to ensure that the Foundation has a secure basis of funding in the years ahead. As a member of the Legacy Program, donors are encouraged to designate their gifts for general purposes so that funds can be directed to the area of greatest need as the profession evolves and priorities change. To enhance your involvement with the Legacy Program, the Foundation can recommend a range of planned giving options for you to explore with your personal financial advisor.

The Foundation encourages members to work with professional counsel to plan their estate in order to make sure that all loved ones are taken care of and causes of particular interest remembered. If you do not plan your estate, the government will do it for you and many of your unexpressed wishes will go unfulfilled. Remember, only the living can plan an estate and procrastination and thinking that “my estate is too small” are often excuses for not completing an estate plan. By planning your estate you decide how your estate should be managed, both while living and afterwards, in a cost effective and tax considered manner, while providing for those who mean the most to you.
