The Wimpfheimer-Guggenheim Fund for International Exchange in Nutrition, Dietetics and Management

A $1,000 award will be given for an essay describing a new methodology and or technology used to transmit nutrition education or to alleviate food insecurity through sustainable agriculture. The author, a professional dietitian or nutritionist involved in the project should state an innovative yet feasible solution to a local problem that can be applied in a variety of settings preferably in developing countries.

The author must be willing to submit the essay for publication in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association and to share with others the ideas mentioned in the project. Essays should be between five and seven typewritten double-spaced pages. Applications are available online or by e-mailing blabrador@eatright.org. Application deadline is December 1 of each year.
